Team Newsnew team members

In 2022, so far, we have covered the latest updates for social media, from changing algorithms to promising monetisation opportunities. However, we have failed to mention some incredibly exciting team updates here at Pick & Mix – new team members!

Say hello to Emily

Emily Smith

In January, we welcomed Emily to our team as our Junior Social Media Assistant & Copywriter. With a first-class Journalism degree, Emily has had experience producing engaging news content that can be shared online and across social media.

After graduating from Leeds Trinity University in 2020, she spent her lockdown years working on a freelance basis, contributing content to a variety of outlets covering topics ranging from the pandemic to gaming.

In her new role, Emily will be creating bespoke content for our clients and ensuring that their accounts are running smoothly.

“I have loved my time here so far and have been supported every step of the way by the team,” Emily said.

“I am looking forward to developing my skills and working with clients to help grow their online presence.”

Pick & Mix Marketing has also welcomed new team members Isabella Storey and Liv Cooper from MK Public Relations.

In February, Bella, who is the Senior Communications Executive at MK Public Relations, began supporting the team to produce bespoke social media content for clients and provide a helping hand with the increasing workload.

Her PR experience and deep understanding of the online world has provided an exciting new perspective on content creation, as she shares new ideas to help our clients’ accounts grow.

Liv Cooper, an Intern for MK Public Relations, who is also in her final year at Sheffield Hallam University studying towards her Journalism degree, has begun supporting the Pick & Mix team alongside Bella.

With ambitions of working in the PR industry within the sports sector, Liv is using this opportunity to learn about creating social media content. She is learning about how this style of content production differs from PR and how she can use social media to target audiences and grow accounts.

2022 has been a very exciting month for Pick & Mix so far, and we can’t wait to see how our new team members grow!
