After 6 years at our Fulford home we’ve relocated!

With a growing customer base and a new team member joining, the business grew out of their home office just off Bishy Road and moved into our very own premises on Fulford Industrial Estate. Since then, both the team and fantastic client base of businesses in Yorkshire, as well as further afield, have continued to grow.

 

 

Not only was the business itself growing and evolving, but so was marketing in general. With the development of the digital world, social media became more of a marketing priority. More and more businesses realised the potential they had online and these social sites opened up a great opportunity for them. Businesses were now able to create online audiences which mirrored their existing word-of-mouth and face-to-face community.

 

With so much interest, our team and business kept expanding, taking on Jess back in 2013 and Siân earlier this year.  With this expansion and more plans on the horizon, we made the decision that this year, it was time to take our next step, and relocate…to a new home!

 

After searching high and low for the perfect spot; somewhere with ample training room, inspiring office space, and a location that would suit clients from outside of York as well as in, we set upon Northminster Business Park. Finding a space below our friends at Torque Law and alongside many more fantastic firms. We knew it was the place for us.

 

This meant it was all hands on deck! We loaded our cars with desks, tripods and pot-plants (not forgetting our famous sweet jars!) and set off from our southern home in Fulford for Poppleton, to the north of York.

 

After a few coats of paint, a stylish new sofa and plenty of pink accessories, we were ready to open our doors.

 

And here we are, our sweet new home at Pick & Mix Marketing….

 

 

Now we’ve settled in, we’d like to host a little house-warming. We’re inviting our neighbours from Northminster Business Park and Poppleton to come along for some special social media workshops.

 

Designed to give you an overview of the platforms and help you decide which one is right for your business, you’ll learn from the Pick & Mix Marketing team about LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

You’ve probably heard that your competitors are using these sites. However, it can be confusing to try and figure them out yourself and to know what you should be posting to attract your ideal customers.

We create content and manage profiles on these platforms for a whole range of clients on a daily basis so we know what we’re doing. From swimming schools to solicitors, restaurants to retailers, we understand what works for marketing a product or service on social. We’re always excited to share our knowledge with you and give you a space to bounce ideas off of other local businesses.

 

These special sessions are just £65+ VAT to cover all 4 main platforms.
