Launch brand new restaurant and establish an on and offline audience

 

BRIEF

Vaqueiros Brazilian Rodizio is a new traditional Brazilian restaurant based in York. Local York restaurateur Richard Beal, collaborated on the venture with Head Chef and partner, Eduardo Caetano, who, Brazilian himself, was keen to bring a taste of his heritage to the York food scene.

Pick & Mix Marketing was approached to help support with a VIP launch event for the brand new Brazilian restaurant and to support with all aspects of marketing throughout the initial launch stage.

PROCESS

Working alongside Visit York, Pick & Mix Marketing worked to develop a list of businesses and media contacts that were then personally invited to the VIP launch, which sold out in less than a week. The event was then hosted by the Pick & Mix Marketing team.

Pick & Mix Marketing also ran a Facebook Advertising campaign alongside the launch to generate a wider reach for the page, which in turn helps towards customer conversation online and general awareness of the business.

The team also created and distributed a follow up email after the event itself to generate repeat business for the restaurant which was a great success.

    • An email campaign that saw a 47% open rate (Industry average, 18.7%).
