Want to get your Marketing hopping this Easter? Take advantage of this seasonal time of year and make your marketing egg-cellent!

Here are a few of our favourite marketing ideas for this egg-citing time of year.

  1. Create your own Easter Egg Hunt

There are many ways you can put on an Easter egg hunt if you are an outdoor company, a physical hunt around your business location would be perfect. But if you simply don’t have space, there are still ways you can get involved. You could design and print a leaflet showcasing what you have on during the Bank Holiday weekend, simply hide Easter eggs within the design, and tell your customers to count the number of eggs they can see on the leaflet to win a prize. Or, hide Easter eggs around your website, yes this may be a bit more technical, but it means people will browse your site and hopefully make a purchase!

  1. Make your own Easter Egg Basket

Easter is an occasion that families love to get involved in, and often it’s not all about chocolate Easter eggs. Children (and adults!) love to receive all types of treats, if you’re a retailer, you could create your own ready-made Easter Basket filled with treats whether these are food or something else – an easy go-to present for those struggling for time or inspiration!

  1. Easter Treat Promo!

Everyone loves a treat or discount, whether this is 10% off selected products or a little Easter treat with every purchase. Either way, it will encourage people to purchase from you. You could run this throughout the weekend to take advantage of the Good Friday and Easter Monday shoppers!

  1. Make your most loyal customers feel egg-stra special

It’s easier to retain customers than gain new ones which is why it’s important to ensure you treat your most loyal customers every now and again to show you appreciate their loyalty. You could send your top 20 customers an email or direct mail offering them an exclusive treat to thank them for their loyalty, but encourage them to come in-store to pick this up (hopefully they’ll purchase more once they’re in your store!).

One key thing to remember this Easter is…. don’t put all your eggs in one basket. The most successful marketing campaigns are those that you use across all different media channels, online and offline. So, add something to your social media content, update your website with a blog or article, send an email to your customers and get some leaflets and direct mail printed!
